Wow, this was probably the best meatloaf I've ever made! The changes I made were to omit the evaporated milk (I was making this with 8oz meat, and didn't want to open a whole can for for a couple of tsps), add together a heaped tbsp of French Onion soup mix, and I put a thick slice of cheese on pinnacle at the finish then it would melt down nicely. We both really enjoyed this. Thanks and so much!
11/01/2007
My family really liked this. I added more mushrooms and as I didn't have any cornflakes I used breadcrumbs instead. I think when I make this again I might salvage some mushrooms to get on top also. Hubby said can y'all brand this again soon. Many Thanks.
02/03/2007
This tastes just like my favorite burger! I made this with ground turkey and used over 8 ounces of mushrooms. I left everyting else the same. It turned out wonderful! The whole family loved it. Even my newly picky three yr old ate a whole slice. The prep did take a bit longer than my normal meatloaf, but no reason not to make this once again! Thanks ~TNT~ for the recommendation and NICOLETTE for the recipe!
06/10/2008
This is my family's favorite meatloaf! I've fabricated this so many times, I almost know information technology by centre. I've done information technology with cheddar cheese instead of swiss for variation and I've used regular milk instead of evaporated. Information technology e'er turns out wonderful.
12/10/2006
I doubled the recipe to make sure in that location would be leftovers. Boy, I was wrong. My family gobbled upward everything. It is delicious. I honey the scent in the house when cooking this meatloaf.
10/06/2006
This wonderful meatloaf was a Large hit in my house. My boys don't care for meatloaf, just my married man does, so I am always looking for a new style to make meatloaf. For the first fourth dimension I tin remember in that location were no leftovers. The interesting variety of textures and flavors made this dish a keeper in my book!
02/15/2007
I agree that it was a lot of work for a meatloaf. I also added worchestershire sauce to the mix. It was pretty good, but the cheese was lost inside, so I think I would just stir in cubed cheese if I made it once more.
02/05/2006
I thought this was pretty expert for meatloaf. My favorite burger is the bacon, mushroom, swiss then I thought this was a natural for meatloaf. Unfortunately my family unit caught on that there were mushrooms in it and fifty-fifty though they ate it, said they didn't similar it! The meatloaf they liked best was the That's A Meatloaf from this site. I didn't think information technology took a lot of fourth dimension to gear up - no more whatsoever other dinner that you lot accept to practice some prep for. It was done correct at the time it said. If I were to make information technology again (just for myself!) I'd put more mushrooms in!
09/01/2006
I added several roasted, chopped green chiles to the hamburger mixture and seasoned with red pepper. Best meatloaf e'er!
09/12/2005
This is the all-time meatloaf I have ever ate. Just when I was going to surrender on meatloaf I tried this recipe and it was and so delicisious.
07/19/2010
This meatloaf is great. I didn't accept evaporated milk then I used i/4c to 1/2c of mushroom soup. I also had to replace the cereal with bread crumbs. I added another can of soup to the part tin can leftover mushroom soup and used it every bit a gravy when information technology was served. It was a big success. 2d time making it I added a package of Liptons garlic onion soup mix and it was fantastic,I will never have manifestly former anymore. Thanks

MY Husband LOVED THIS.. Nosotros LOW Swallow LOW-CARB AND THIS RECIPE MINUS THE CORNFLAKES IS Crawly.. I AM A TWEAKER.. SO FOR ALL OF THOSE TRADITIONALIST I PRE-APOLOGIZE.. 2# OF CHUCK.. 12 OZ. QUALITY Salary DICED SMALL..viii OZ MUSHROOMS CHOPPED..ane VERY SMALL Yellow ONION CHOPPED FINE.. 6 OZ. CABOT Mild CHEDDAR IN CHUNKS.. GARLIC Common salt.. 2 EGGS.. SQUIRT OF Depression-CARB KETCHUP..... I RENDERED BACON AND REMOVED FROM PAN.. ADDED ONION AND MUSHROOM TILL SOFT.. Drained WITH BACON.. COOLED A Petty Flake.. ADDED ALL TO MEATLOAF AND AT FIRST I HAD MY DOUBTS.. BUT... IT WAS MAGNIFICENT!! DID NOT Add together Additional ANYTHING TO TOP.. I HAD READ OTHER REVIEWS THAT SAID CHEESE WAS LOST IN MEATLOAF SHREDDED SO I HAD CHUNKS.. ADN SOME WERE OOZING OUT THE TOP AND OUT THE SIDE.. TOTALLY Crawly.. MY HUSBAND Fabricated SURE I WROTE THIS Ane Downwardly 'COZ I NEVER MAKE MEATLOAF THE Same WAY TWICE... THA MUSHROOMS GAVE AN Extra Meaty Taste, CHOPPED FINE IT WAS HARD TO TELL THEY WERE In that location.. And so YOU WOULD Bite INTO A Clamper OF GOOD MELTED CHEDDAR.. WE ATE WITH "SMOTHERED GREEN BEANS" ....... OH I OMITTED THE MILK... I WOULD DEFINITELY Attempt WITH THE SWISS (DIDNT HAVE Whatever)
12/06/2010
So practiced. A little more work than the average meatloaf, but worth it in the finish. I simply added a piddling salt and pepper and about a tsp of worcestershire and used seasoned breadstuff crumbs since I didn't have cornflakes and it turned out swell. I sprinkled some fresh mushrooms on the top with the bacon and cheese, and I served it with a brown gravy from a parcel, substituting half the water for evaporated milk. Delish.
12/ten/2010
Awesome.
12/04/2010
This was an amazing meatloaf recipe.... my husband has hated merely most every meatloaf I've ever made, and he loved this! I actually didn't even put in the swiss, and it was still amazing.
12/thirteen/2010
yummy. thanks for this meatloaf
11/22/2010
The best @#$%^&* meatloaf always!! I make this for all of my company and they think I am an astonishing cook! Thank you for the recipe!!
05/08/2010
Love THIS!!! Had to utilise less mushrooms and onions than I would have liked (my sister doesn't like them), simply it all the same turned out smashing!!! CHANGES: Added a tbs or then of onion soup mix, used bread crumbs and crushed ritz, added fresh pepper to the onion and mushroom mix while cooking in bacon grease. Astonishing!!!
07/06/2010
This was a wonderful recipe! I volition definitely brand again!
ten/06/2010
Great, but lacking the good topping that I love on meatloaf. I'll make in once more, but add an acid based topping to cut some of the richness of the meatloaf itself.
02/07/2011
One of the best tasting meatloaf'southward I've ever fabricated!
02/11/2010
This was the BEST meat loaf I have EVER fabricated!!!!! well Information technology was my first meat load, but we have tried every one elses, and this was MY favorite! I used milk instead of the evaporated milk! I too put fresh garlic in it! I just loved it!
04/15/2010
I'm not a huge meatloaf fan, simply this is absolutely succulent! Thanks for sharing
07/06/2010
This meatloaf was good, merely information technology was really heavy. We could only eat a petty of it.
01/17/2011
Made this concluding night for my family. They loved it!! Volition definitely brand this again. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
11/22/2005
takes a niggling long to gear up but is so expert.
04/06/2010
I tried this recipe awhile agone so I don't remember all the changes I made, simply I estimate this is an example of why people don't like reviews after changes were made to the recipe! I retrieve I took too much of other people'due south suggestions/review changes. It seems that the recipe itself would probably not turn out the way mine did. I added some common salt and pepper, garlic powder, garlic, and did the cubed cheese affair. All of which ended up making my meatloaf WAYYY as well salty. My friends said it was okay, and I ordinarily like some table salt in my food, but it was fifty-fifty as well salty for me. I gave it 4 stars bc I'k sure it would take turned out fine had I not added so much other stuff! I recollect the pepper and some minced garlic is expert merely no more than common salt! The bacon is already salty enough! What was I thinking?! And I think the shredded cheese would have been fine too. Sorry for screwing w/ the recipe! :P
07/22/2010
Proficient. Hubby liked it. Simply seemed similar I couldn't taste the beef over the pork. However--I love bacon! so skilful recipe.
07/06/2010
I have been looking at this recipe for nearly a month and wanted to attempt information technology, but I could non convince my fiance as he is not a big fan of onions or mushrooms. Well he finally gave in and I made information technology this evening for the first time. It wasn't the over the summit bam in my mouth that I expected simply information technology was yummy to me. He wasn't overly thrilled with it merely he did say information technology wasn't as bad as he expected. I only made a few minor changes and those were to utilize fewer and finely chopped mushrooms, simply 1/2 of a small onion, added a bit of worchestire sauce and a little garlic powder. I added sliced cheese to the superlative instead of shredded merely that was due to looks more than anything. Adept recipe, will endeavor again and will play with it more as well.
03/26/2011
Fantastic - Moist and delicious. Separate into 2 smaller loaf pans and cooked for less time. Good enough to serve at 'fancy' meals... even though its meatloaf!
01/22/2011
its the household fav <3
02/05/2011
My married man loves meatloaf and this is his favorite.
01/27/2009
I DO Non LIKE PEOPLE WHO Alter THE WHOLE RECIPE. WRITE YOUR OWN AND SUBMIT IF YOU Take TO Make THAT MANY CHANGES. This was swell. My favorite burger is mushroom swiss, which I only gild out as I can not grill where I live. The but alter I made was more mushrooms and a dash of worcestershire, and bread crumbs vs corn flakes. I took leftovers to work today and you lot are a hero, Nicolette.. everybody loved it.
02/22/2011
This was amazing - I even brought some left over to work and people were asking for the recipe. I did make a few alterations, according to some other reviews - but even as a rerun it was however moist and and then yummy every bit the starting time time. Will totally make once again.
02/10/2010
YUMMMMM
04/04/2011
This recipe was a striking! There was nil left of this meat loaf when we were done eating. I did take to change a few things. I left out mushrooms and onions (husband doesn't like either). And he said it was awesome. I also used staff of life crumbs instead of corn flakes, and simply used regular milk. It took longer than listed to set, probably because I have all-clad aluminum pots to cook the bacon in, and it only takes a bit longer for the salary to finish cooking. Information technology was worth the wait. We all dear salary and cheese, particularly the kiddo, and so we all enjoyed it. Volition be making this one again and again. Cheers for sharing!
09/13/2010
Gonna dive to the lesser of this i. If in that location was staff of life large enough, I'd consume the whole thing liek a burger! Great recipe!
02/26/2010
I agree with what many before me have said--too blah. Definitely needs more than kick. I may attempt it again using some of the suggestions of garlic powder, salt & pepper, worcestershire sauce, etc. I may even attempt powdered ranch dressing mix.
05/eleven/2009
This meatloaf was delicious hot/common cold, in and out of sandwiches. Reading the reviews I,besides, opted to cube the Swiss cheese so it wouldn't go lost. Added one 1/2 teaspoons of salt. I used my deadening cooker to cook this, placing the meatloaf on a trivet to allow the fat to drip to the lesser. My boring cooker runs on the hot side and the meatloaf was done in 5 1/2 hours on Low.
04/29/2011
I loved this recipe! I have had a tough time finding a good meatloaf recipe, and this 1 was swell with a few changes. I cooked five pieces of thin sliced bacon and added it to the recipe. I layed four-5 raw pieces on the loaf when I baked it, and poured off the grease as it cooked. I used sour foam instead of the milk, and used well-nigh a one-half cup. I have e'er done that considering the loaf stays more moist. I used some good Italian breadstuff instead of the cracker crumbs, and I chunked up the swiss cheese equally others had suggested. I didn't use any spices except pepper. I know information technology sounds like I made a lot of changes, but really I didn't. As with all recipes, there is usually room for changes according to your tastes. We loved this, and I will exist making this over again! I shared the recipe with a co-worker today also!
04/16/2009
Oh my! This meatloaf is outrageously proficient. I don't similar "traditional" meatloaf so I'grand always looking for something different to exercise since my husband LOVES meatloaf. I made it terminal night and he finished up the leftovers for lunch today.
08/eighteen/2012
This was a skillful meatloaf, just for the end outcome (gustatory modality, work, and calories) information technology isn't worth to brand again. the salary and cheese become lost in the meat so really you only observe the stuff on tiptop and thats the only season this meatloaf had even later on I added table salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Married man only had one serving and thats unusual for him. Merely he did accept the leftovers for work without complaints.
ten/10/2012
I made this meatloaf for my husbands birthday, it was Delicious! I added salt, pepper, ruby-red cayenne pepper and worcestershire to the meatloaf. I besides added more mushrooms.
04/02/2011
Absolutely the best comfort food. Perfect dinner for a cold twenty-four hour period. This recipe was succulent and very piece of cake to set up. I did'nt change a matter. I will definitly make this again.
03/26/2009
This was very good :)just, I made a few changes, which I don't believe change the original recipe. First off, I used 2 lbs of ground beef. So I used a few extra mushrooms, swiss cheese, and bacon. I wasn't besides certain almost the cornflakes, so I didn't add together them. I used a cup of bread crumbs instead. I added Worcestershire sauce to the onions and mushrooms when they were almost done cooking. I used 2 eggs since I was using more basis beef. I added one tsp of garlic powder, 1/ii tsp onion pulverization, dash of salt and pepper, and a few shakes of paprika. My meatloaf turned out great! I actually had 2 pocket-size meatloafs, which I baked side by side in one large casserole dish. I covered with foil for the 1st 30 min, per other reviews, and then connected baking 30 more min uncovered. Topped with more than cheese and bacon and put back in the oven for five min. I cooked this for my dad and he loved it. Simply I can imagine that without the extra spicies, information technology might've turned out but a little bland. But I really enjoyed this ane. Thanks!
01/02/2009
this was decent, not the best but worth having when yous want meatloaf but dont want just regular meatloaf.. it tasted like information technology was missing something.. common salt probably. will make again
02/03/2010
WOW. So proficient.
02/ten/2010
GREAT
03/31/2008
I take 2 boys, aged ix and 7. The 9yo is the picky eater, the 7yo non and then much. Both told me how much they HATED mushrooms and Swiss cheese. They both LOVED this meatloaf. I doubled the recipe only still inappreciably have any leftovers to take to work. I served it with homemade garlic mashed potatoes and dark-green beans. Crawly meal!
04/23/2011
Admittedly amazing! I used ground turkey to 'lighten' this up a little. My husband, who usually doesn't like meatloaf, LOVED it!
02/27/2009
This was pretty good. I doubled the recipe and froze i meatloaf for afterwards. It made a quick and like shooting fish in a barrel dinner. I added a lot more than mushrooms than were chosen for in the recipes. My family unit really like it but I think I prefer my old recipe. But this is a keen change of pace and I will get in again.
02/03/2009
My hubby's favorite dinner is meatloaf, and he said that this might be the best always. I used turkey and precooked bacon to cut down on fatty, information technology was first-class. I can't expect to swallow the leftovers!
03/22/2012
I fabricated it jelly roll manner with sliced swiss, mushrooms and salary in middle
07/31/2012
I just made this delicious meatloaf for the kickoff time tonight and it was an instant favorite for my family! It was so moist and flavorful! I will surely be making this again. I of the all-time tasting meatloaf'southward I have ever eaten!
11/03/2011
Amazing meatloaf, whole family enjoyed!
11/11/2008
Yum!!! the family loved this, will be making over again, I served brown gravy along with it and it tasted merely similar the mushroom swiss burgers delish. thanks for a peachy recipe.
12/20/2009
I made this meatloaf for my very picky family. Anybody absolutely loved it. I did not have to add together a thing. My son'southward said information technology was like eating a burger without the bread, Fabled!! We volition defiantly be having this over again. Thank you for sharing.
04/26/2011
It was okay. I didn't utilise evaporated milk... like other said, I didn't want to open information technology for merely a 1/four cup. I used bread crumbs instead of cornflakes... somehow I don't remember the frosted kind would taste all that great. ;) It was a decent base of operations recipe... my hubby loved it. I thought it was lacking flavour. Might attempt other things side by side fourth dimension. Cheers for the recipe!
05/21/2008
This was very tasty. My fellow (who doesn't like meatloaf) fifty-fifty made sandwiches with information technology the next day. I added a teaspoon of liquid fume to brand it a little bit more like a hamburger. I would recommend lots of extra mushrooms. I doubled the ammount and it even so did not seem like enough.
01/08/2012
Excellent repast!!! It could take used a few more mushrooms. And I took advice of using chunks of swiss instead of shredded...perfect!! Cant expect to go far once again!!
12/15/2014
This meat loaf was different than the usual. Nosotros liked information technology. At first my husband idea information technology needed something to give information technology " some kick " because he likes pepper and spicy food, and so he changed his listen...he liked it.
01/23/2009
I added a touch of A1 and a nuance of Chulula to the mix--Crawly! I HATED meatloaf every bit a kid (the sweet syrupy ketchup topping kind...bleh!). I have never loved meatloaf more later this recipe. It was delicious!
10/30/2011
I idea this was simply ok, BUT all 3 of my kids LOVED IT!!! I did experience like it was "missing" something, though...ketchup?
02/24/2012
My hubby and I love this meatloaf! Aye, information technology does accept a fleck of prep piece of work merely so worth it. I did make just a few changes. My husband hates onion chunks so I use onion powder and a bit of minced garlic. I also add onion powder, garlic, common salt, and pepper to the burger. I always use regular milk and breadcrumbs. Instead of shredded Swiss I use sliced Swiss cut into chunks, then y'all detect this wonderful melted cheese in the centre. It also makes a great sandwich the next mean solar day...if at that place are whatever leftovers!
07/13/2011
it was very adept but still needed "something"????
09/fourteen/2006
Distressing, we didnt recall it annihilation special, Will not exist making again
09/27/2011
Beginning permit me say I dearest meatloaf! Hot, cold, morning time, apex or nighttime. But this recipe just did'nt do it for me. Not that it was bad, it merely was not something that appealed to me. Don't believe I will effort this ane once again. But it was worth a shot.
ten/23/2009
This is the best meatloaf! Perfect texture and tons of flavor. I follow the recipe exactly. Information technology turns out the same every time, so it makes a perfect meal for company. We ever go compliments.
01/05/2009
We loved this recipe!!!! I saved enough of bacon, mushrooms, and cheese for the meridian and added them correct earlier taking out. the store was out of shredded swiss so I bought the slices and tore them up by mitt and it worked out wonderful!!!! The leftovers are only as expert (we doubled the recipe). We added them into beefiness flavored ramen noodles and made wraps with them. If you practise the wraps add a slice (layer) of cheese to the tortilla before calculation the meat. this is besides wonderful with jalapenos if you like spicy!! Nosotros can't wait to make this again!!! Thank you. I finally take a meat loaf recipe to compete with his mom'southward :)
04/19/2009
Thumbs up from my married man and teen-historic period boys. The best meatloaf I've tried (so far). Will definitely get in again and have no hesitation to recommend it.
09/22/2009
For whatever reason, my bacon didn't produce the usual amount of drippings, and so in one case the salary was cooked halfway, I added my onion and mushrooms to the pan. Otherwise, I followed the recipe almost exactly (used lean instead of actress lean) and it turned out great. Practiced on buns the next twenty-four hours with extra swiss and sliced tomatoes too.
02/08/2006
this was a nice modify from plain former meatloaf. I used pepperjack instead of swiss
07/29/2012
fantabulous flavor, did cube the cheese
11/19/2013
We actually loved this recipe, but I did make some changes. I honestly couldn't see using 3/4 of a pound of salary no matter how much I love the stuff, so instead I reduced it to 5oz of premium applewood and used 2 lbs of ground beef. For seasoning I added minced garlic to the mushroom and onion and a tsp of worchestershire sauce. Didn't accept any corn flakes so used my normal crushed saltines. Everyone loved information technology and truthfully there was more than than plenty bacon flavor without so much fat.
11/08/2013
I followed most of the recipe except for the mushrooms (didn't have any). However, I did take a bumper crop of homegrown jalepenos, so I seeded and diced about 5 pocket-sized ones and sauteed them with the onions in the bacon grease. Think that was the best substitution ever. The meatloaf already had some great flavors going on, but the jalepenos knocked it out of the ballpark. Volition make this one again!
12/19/2007
This was excellent! i did modify from the original recpie, i did non use mushrooms i love them only the kids don't, i used lipton onion soup mix and made a mushroom gravy from dry mix and poured it over the meatloaf when it had about ten minutes left then i put the swiss cheese and crumbled bacon on top, it was soooo juicy from the gravy i will nigh certaintly make this again! my girlfriend even took my copy of this recipe to make! i have picswill add them 2morrow.
04/28/2009
This is a great recipe, my family loved information technology.
12/19/2008
Can't think of anything else to say nigh this meatloaf except it was fabulous.
12/07/2014
Good meatloaf. Next time I'll add some table salt for my liking every bit I found it lacked it.
11/twenty/2014
I added garlic table salt, pepper, & worchestershire sauce & it was still bland. If I get in once again, I will add together a box of herb stuffing mix instead of cornflakes to give it some season. Too, instead of frying upward bacon, I may add precooked bacon $.25.
04/xx/2008
This is definately a keeper! I miss my Hardee's Mushroom Burgers, and every bit soon as I saw this recipe, I printed it out and went directly to the kitchen lol. Brilliant season, and information technology deserves a higher rating than 5 stars. Cheers for sharing Nicolette!
01/14/2009
i am giving five stars b/c i basically took this recipe, did my own thing and information technology turned out astonishing! the best meatloaf i have always had/made! i followed information technology for the most part except made it into a bacon cheddar meatloaf. im sure the mush/swiss is great and will brand information technology that manner in the future, but those i was cooking it for preferred i left the mushrooms out. so i saw that i had precipitous cheddar on hand and just used that (kinda like a bacon cheddar cheeseburger!). served information technology w/ the cauliflower w/ dijon sauce recipe from here (omitting the mayo) and drizzled the dijon sauce over it all. yummmy!
05/30/2014
This was a really good meatloaf! I almost doubled the recipe but forgot to get the right corporeality of salary. I also forgot to saute the mushrooms and onions outset. Its had still amazing flavor.
xi/04/2009
Really liked this - I grew upwardly on my mom's meatloaf and thought it was the ONLY one - hmmmm - I think I accept changed my mind now. Actually I fixed it when a blood brother and sister were here to visit - they also loved information technology. I did non put the cereal in - didn't have any - I used bread crumbs.
02/09/2015
I served this Saturday night for visitor. With my mashed potatoes, this was a big striking (for some persnickety people). I suggest making only every bit directed with maybe a piddling extra mushrooms. This will be my go to meatloaf. Sometimes you simply need meatloaf and good mashed taters.
08/x/2014
we loved this! I did season to our sense of taste with garlic table salt, pepper, garlic and herb seasoning and lea & perrins. instead of corn flakes used panko. used fresh sliced mushrooms and diced red onions sautéed in bacon grease. added diced swiss cheese cubes to mixture and additional swiss slices during the last 10 minutes of cooking. YUMMY
11/04/2014
Off the chain Meatloaf!! I Dearest how the Salary flavored the Meatloaf. I fabricated with Cheddar Cheese because Melted Swiss is a little overwhelming in flavor for me. I used a Lipton Onion Soup Packet because my daughter won't eat Onions (only she can't see the Lipton Onions) and it was YUMMY!!!
12/07/2008
This was spectacular! You have no idea what kinds of horrible meatloaf recipes I grew up with from my Dad'due south cooking ( think crushed Fruit Loops instead of breadcrumbs and raisins!) so it really took a leap of faith for me to make this! It sounded then good, I had to try. I used 1/2 beefiness, 1/two ground turkey. I used bread crumbs and extra mushrooms. Information technology smelled so skillful while information technology was cooking! Information technology was reviewed as a winner past my family, and my DH said to make certain to make him a auto package for his lunch tomorrow! I will make this once more!
05/06/2012
It was a typical meatloaf with a lot of loaded calories that didn't add much to the flavour.
12/09/2008
I think I had my hopes too high for this recipe. It wasn't as practiced as I expected. I beloved mushroom swiss burgers. This wasn't it at all. The kids didn't like it. My mom just said it was ok. I did like it warmed up the side by side day on breadstuff. This is probably personal preference. All in all it's a good recipe. Just non for u.s.a..
12/28/2005
this is a lot of work for a fairly decent meatloaf,
01/09/2015
This was my first time making meatloaf, and thrilled with the results... Information technology was super moist, and very flavorful!! Changes I fabricated were no mushrooms only because I didnt have whatever, almond milk instead of evap milk, breadcrumbs instead of cornflakes, and I didn't elevation it with cheese and salary, I merely mixed all of information technology within of the loaf. Only that left it with a crispy crust that was super tasty. I also let the loaf rest for about 10 minutes after baking, and then that it would be easier to cut. Kiddo and I both went for seconds and theres still plenty enough leftovers for later...excellent recipe!
04/06/2009
This was a yummy meatloaf. The meat tasted a bit bland though. I would add three tablespoons Worcestershire sauce and either some minced garlic or garlic powder adjacent time though. Yummy- simply needs some more kick.
02/nineteen/2009
My first meatloaf that turned out perfect. It was tasty and full of flavor, but not overpowering. It is a flake time consuming to make, but worth it. It as well makes a hateful meatloaf sandwich the side by side mean solar day!
10/27/2011
My family unit LOVES this spin on meatloaf and we generally are not fans of meatloaf!
12/17/2011
This meatloaf was very tasty. The changes I made because of what I had on mitt was: I used a container of mushrooms (fresh), I used milk, breadcrumbs and 3 cheese crumbles for the cheese. I likewise added garlic powder and a piddling Worcestershire sauce. I also served Stubby's Balmy BBQ sauce on the side. My husband loves salary cheeseburgers so this was a treat for him.
01/23/2012
This admittedly delicious -- and I don't even like mushrooms. ;) Instead of milk, put in i/8 c of french onion dip and 1/8 cup water, also used Italian bread crumbs instead of corn flakes. Added a dash of worchestershire, also common salt and pepper. Topped with a mix of BBQ sauce and A1 underneath a slice of swiss for the melting phase.
12/07/2011
Every bit other reviewers suggested, I added more than mushrooms to the top & skipped the milk, otherwise, didn't change a affair.
11/08/2013
Instead of making i big loaf I made patties & put actress mushrooms on elevation with the cheese & salary. They broiled quicker & tasted wonderful! Great recipe - Thank you lot!
